In 2012, fresh-eyed and driven, I packed my bags and moved to Northern California. The vibe in NorCal was electric; the cannabis scene was unlike anything I’d ever experienced. I was captivated by the fields of green, the scent of earth and herbs, and the thrill of cultivating a plant that was more than just a buzz. It was a lifestyle, a craft, and I was all in.

Starting out, I learned the basics—soil quality, optimal light cycles, nutrient balances. I spent my days in the grow rooms, hands deep in soil, watching tiny seeds sprout into towering plants. Each harvest was a lesson in patience and dedication, and the deeper I got into it, the more passionate I became. Before long, I was developing a reputation in the area; people knew I was serious about my craft, and I began to meet some key players in the industry. These weren’t just farmers; they were pioneers, innovators, people who saw cannabis as both art and science.

Eventually, I set my sights on expanding beyond NorCal. The scene in Los Angeles was booming, and it felt like the perfect place to take things to the next level. Moving to LA was like stepping into a whole new world of opportunity, and I quickly realized the impact I could make by diving deeper into extracts. Concentrates were a next-level experience. They allowed us to take the purest essence of the plant, distilling it down into potent forms that captured all the nuanced flavors and effects. I refined my processes, collaborated in labs, and even got invited to sit in on sessions with some of the biggest names in the industry.

The years since have been a wild ride. From those early days in NorCal to the vibrant hustle of LA, I’ve watched the industry evolve, and I’ve evolved with it.
